Personal Chef:  (n) a chef who is hired by different clients and prepares meals in the clients' home kitchens, based on their needs and preferences. Some personal chefs focus on preparing meals and packaging them in containers for the client to enjoy later. Others concentrate their efforts on cooking for parties and other special events. Either way, personal chefs are responsible for meal planning, shopping, preparing the meal, serving the guests and cleaning up afterward. The menu is preplanned and discussed with the client, then prepared in their home. According to health-department guidelines, all food must either be prepared in the home of the client or in a kitchen that has passed an official health inspection.

Caterer:  (n) someone hired to provide food, service, etc. as for a party or other gathering.

Cater:  (v) to provide or supply what amuses, is desired, or gives pleasure, comfort, etc.

Specialty:  (adj) performing or performed in a manner that is unusual or not customary; distinguished by some unusual quality; readily differentiated from others in the same category; unique
